Weight of TMT bars by diameter, per metre and per standard 12 m bar, so you can estimate how much steel to order.
Formula
Weight (kg per metre) = D² ÷ 162, where D is the bar diameter in millimetres. For a 12 mm bar: 12 × 12 ÷ 162 = 0.889 kg per metre.
